The best place to find sloths and waterfalls from Tamarindo is in the Tenorio volcano area. In this National park you can enjoy a 45-minute walk to observe the incredible Rio Celeste waterfall, after a photo session we return to the town of Bijagua where we can observe the sloths in a small reserve area located between the Miravalles volcanoes and Tenorio in addition to howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, toucans, frogs, worms, butterflies and many rainforest plants, after lunch we drive back to Tamarindo making a one-hour stop at the Los Llanos de Cortes waterfall where you can swim and cool off.
This place is located 2 hours and 45 minutes from Tamarindo and its surroundings.
