These terms apply to the tours offered by Tamarindo Estuary Tours Mi Rey, in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, through this website.
Bookings
When you book, you choose the tour, the date and the number of guests. Boat and kayak tours depend on the high tide, so we confirm the exact time and the pickup details with you by WhatsApp or email.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars. Most tours are priced per person; private boat tours are priced per boat, up to the capacity shown. Most tours require a minimum of 2 guests, and full-day tours and the Ostional arribada require 4. Each tour shows its rules for children.
When you book online you pay a deposit to reserve your spot; each tour shows the amount. You pay the balance in cash, in US dollars or colones, directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
Pickup
Pickup in Tamarindo (and Langosta on several tours) is usually included. Farther areas such as Hacienda Pinilla, Conchal, Flamingo or Papagayo have an extra transportation cost depending on the route, which you pay directly to the driver.
During the tour
Please arrive on time for pickup, bring what each tour recommends and follow the instructions of the guide and the captain. Wildlife sightings depend on nature and cannot be guaranteed. On the turtle nesting tour, if we do not see turtles, we reschedule it for the next night or make it up to you with the estuary tour.
If you come on your own, we send you the exact meeting point by WhatsApp when we confirm your booking.
